Jul. 4th, 2005 03:21 pmBack from the zoo! It was a lot of fun. We saw a kinkajou (asleep), orangutans (asleep), a red panda (asleep), and a Sumatra Toad (possibly dead).
We also so penguins, gorillas, BONOBOS, mandrills, many different types of smaller monkeys and prosimians, bears, sea lions, giraffes, hippos, elephants, moose, wolves, a reindeer, a crapload of peacocks, and a bunch of seagulls, one of which pooped on Keely's father's head. (teehee)
We ALSO(!!!!) got to pet the stingrays! And they liked it, I think! Whenever one of them would come under my hand, I would rub it with my fingers, and it stopped and let me pet it.
We're going to Justin's folks' house now, so I might go into more detail when we get back. It was really humid today, but not too hot, so that was okay, and it rained a lot while we were there, but it was still a lot of fun. YAY.
And I bought a stuffed orangutan. I named him Petey.
