I found this post through metaquotes. This woman found an absolutely vile old tome while rifling some cobwebby boxes. It's called On Becoming a Woman, and it was written in 1951 by some misinformed pre-Bushian fundie freakazoid "doctor" type, who also happened (oh surprise of surprises) to be a man. Anyway, blinkytreefrog found the book and decided she had to share the horror, so she scanned it, and here it is!

No death threats against the doctor, he's already dead. Sorry, guys.
