Disturbing Things

I think maybe I'll start a list of Disturbing Things.

1. Watching my dog eat "beefhide chips." I mean, it wouldn't normally be too bad, excepts she's always trying to swallow the pieces before they've been made small enough to travel through her esophagus. Then she'll regurgitate it ("kkkk...HACK! COUGH! CHOKE! blork...chew chew chew") and chew it some more, then try again to swallow it. Then she does it again. And again. And again.

Each time I think, "Yeah...not gonna give her any more of those things." Then I forget about it the next day and give her another one.

All dogs do that, I think. But they're good for their teeth, so even if it's gross, it's good for them to have.
