Stolen from Em.

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me.

It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your LJ and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON'T ACTUALLY remember about you.

Man, speaking of which, I got this flashback a couple of days ago while watching a couple of scouts chatting. You recall our "hitchhiking through Sweden" thing we did, what was it, three or four years ago, yeah? Anyway, we'd managed to rent a pair of bikes, and were riding up along the northern coast (aw man, I loved the nature up there, totally awesome) when my chain snaps. No worries, we're thinking, - there got to be a spare one. Spare tire, spare everything except a chain. It's kind of hard to ride a bike without a chain, and the closest community was what, 50-60 miles away (not uncommon up there). This isn't looking to good for us. I try to persuade you to just get there yourself and send someone to pick me up, but you refuse, for some reason. We're good on food and water though (you can even drink the seawater in Sweden, that's completely wicked!), so I finally give in. Fine. Seems we're both staying out in the wild for a while, then.

Night falls, and we realize that while we have canned food and the means to actually "prepare" it (heat it, that is), we can't actually make a fire, due to ... lack of matches. Curse you, if you hadn't convinced me to not smoke on the journey we'd at least had a lighter, but nooo~.

Ok, so cold, canned food. Mmm...

The next day, we begin our walk towards civilization, but 60 miles is some distance still, so we only get about halfway before evening again. Not that it's *dark*, since the sun never sets, but still.

To make a rather long story a bit shorter, we ran across a Scout patrol the day after, and they even let us eat warm food and helped us get back to civilization and everything.

So, seeing these scouts chatting got me thinking... do you still have the e-mail addresses from the scouts that saved us? I seem to have misplaced 'em :/

You remember that time we were hangin' out at the club, and some crazy dude drove a car through the window? Turns out he had ruined my car, so we had to walk like 2 miles. Remember the drunk guy we came across? I wonder if that bum ever managed to get that pantent he was burbling about.

Nova Scotia Duck Tolling http://www.nsdtrc-usa.org

that is what I am thinking about getting since i want a bird dog being that i will be a hunter come the fall and need my own dog to retrieve my fallen prey(tom is going to help me train). Also, they would be great as a servie dog at the LTC facility I work at since i plan to bring him in. And the tollie is good at agility which cynthia said once i get a dog we have to compet in or she is going to make me train one of her two dogs while i wait on mine. You know the vet now teaches agility in the park every tuesday at 730 if you want to take summer
