Conundrum. A good word.

I don't know why I like it. Could it be the internal assonance? The way, when said, it vibrates through my sternum and stomach and tickles me, just a little?

Of course, there's the "drum" part of the word, which only reinforces the thrumming in my torso.

Also, you don't hear it very much. How often is the word "conundrum" used in everyday conversation? It's more a once-a-month word, I think. Then again, perhaps there are people out there with much bigger vocabularies than I, who are more verbose and polysyllabic in their everyday expressions.

We may never know.

I had half a fajita for breakfast. The other half will probably become my lunch. There was another thunderstorm last night, but no big crashes of thunder, only rumbles. I woke up around 3am to use the bathroom (I've been drinking a lot of water lately) and watched out my window for a few minutes before I realized that I was slowly wilting backward onto my bed and I was about to fall over.

Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEEWEE! *bighug*
