Snow snow snow snow and rain

It has been snowing for the past week and doesn't show any sign of letting up. On the one hand, I'm happy that I'll have a white Christmas...it's very festive outside. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure Mac doesn't have ANY snowplows, so the roads are horrendous and I can't walk on the sidewalk because I don't know where it is. When Summer and I went out this morning, there was a layer of ice about a half inch thick coating the snow, so every time we took a step we had to bust through that layer. Summer was slip-sliding all over the place.

I go to pick up Charles in Sherwood (about 45 minutes away) on Tuesday. Wish us luck with the drive! I have a feeling we're gonna need it!

How's Summer doing these days? Has she recovered fully? It must be funny to stand outside in the snow and ice and yell, "SUMMER!!" lol

arcticheatwave pretty much described Atlanta. It's 42 degrees right now with a hard freeze expected tonight. AND, one of our two heating units at the studio is broken. Glad I have a space heater! But it'll be 61 degrees on Wednesday, so yeah, it's kinda bipolar here in the South.

Summer's fine. Fully recovered! I haven't had to yell for her in the snow because I keep her leashed at all times. I don't have a choice; Mac doesn't have a dog park or even anyplace (that I can find) where it's okay to just let her run around! Laaaaame.

arcticheatwave used to live in Valdez like me so she's used to crappy weather, but the hot-cold thing y'all are getting in the south is probably a little new to her!
