The Professional is the most dangerous of all villains. You do what you do better than anyone, because, as a Professional, you have standards.

The Professional is like the Crook in that they both desire money. But the Professional wants more than that. The Professional wants job satisfaction. It isn't sadism really, he just wants to be sure that the job is done, and done well. No hard feelings, it's just business. Professionals prefer to work alone, but will work in groups if given incentive.

The greatest weakness of a Professional is risk. A Professional is business-like, but can't resist a challenge. They often use the word "worthy opponent". People like that are easily baited. And if a Professional is eventually cornered (not easy to do), they might lose it.

right, just where does "professional" go together with "can't resist a challenge"? Gah. Stupidity all around. People who can't resist a challenge are hardly professional, they're stupid (as far as villains go). A true villain would never even consider a "fair fight" if he can win by other means.

That part seemed a little odd to me as well. I would think, as a professional, the villain wouldn't care about a challenge or a worthy opponent. As they say, "It's just business."

And that's just funny, because I swear I actually read a Deathstroke comic where he uses that line, and I haven't even read that many of his comics. Hah.

I love that Deathstroke is the pic for this one. He is pretty darn badass (although of course in my Deadpool fic Deadpool beats him in the end. *g*)

Oh, THAT guy! I colored him on a cover once, and kept thinking, "Nice boots and Underoos, Ace! Oh, and uh...compensate much?" (Not a fan of his costume. Give me Punisher's costume any day.)

I kinda dig the boots (but I'm with you on the underwear). What is this compulsion that makes superheroes and -villains want to wear undergarments instead of real clothes? It just looks silly and no one can take them seriously.
