Jul. 13th, 2006 09:12 pmToday was pretty good. Uneventful for my boat (long trip) but the short trip (both smaller boats went out for the short trip) saw a breaching humpback. It breached between the boats.
We saw no whales at all.
Bloody whales.
A good thing about today, though, was that an old friend of mine (name of Athena) was on the boat. She was a senior in high school when I was a freshman, and far from treating me like she couldn't see me, she counseled me through my first case of stage fright. It was very nice seeing her again.
