Oct. 7th, 2005 12:46 pmSubbed a half-day at Waller. Third grade. They were great! One of them was named Bob.
One little girl tried to snow me. She was tiny, and very cute. I told the class that they had to finish their Contractions Worksheet, then they could read at their desks.
I looked at the tiny girl and noticed she had an Amelia Bedelia book out, and her worksheet was in her desk. I asked if she was done with it, and she sort of nodded, and I asked if I could look at it, and she mumbled something and got up and book the book back on the shelf.
I'M NOT AS DUMB AS I LOOK, CHILD.
But for the most part, it was very fun.
