Had my last painting class tonight.

When I got home, Summer greeted me at the door, wagging her tail. I left the door open so she could go outside if she wanted while I came in to set down my purse and stuff.

On the floor of the kitchen was the butter dish, licked clean. It had only had a smidgen of stuff left in it, so I wasn't THAT mad, but as soon as I said, "OH!" and turned around, she was gone. Out the door, down the stairs, hiding in the carport. I didn't even hear her go. She knew it was bad, but she did it anyway. Little turd.

Then, when I showed her the empty dish and said, "Look what you did!" she peed on the welcome mat at the bottom of the stairs. Luckily, it's rubber.

Yeeesh. You'd think I beat her or something. She's currently curled up at my feet, trying to be the smallest ball of dog she can be.

Haha, awww... our dog, Addie, is just as bad. She does stuff that she -knows- is bad, because as soon as you notice it, she's cowering on the floor, looking like you beat the hell out of her. Thankfully, she doesn't pee though. XD

Summer doesn't usually pee when she's scared, either. At least not that I've noticed. I was really surprised that she did it, and I wouldn't even have noticed except that, while I stood at the top of the stairs and called her, she came onto the bottom landing and then stopped and looked at the mat and then looked up at me and laid her ears back and crouched again, and then I saw a yellow puddle on the mat that she must have left the first time she ran down the stairs. I dunno. Ninja pee.

Hmm. Well, dogs are known to have their own personality. A friend's dog is a *great* liar. Allow me to explain.

Okay, so my friend, Denny, lives together with another guy, Peter. Denny works, Peter is a lazy bum who can't find a job. So, obviously, Denny wants Peter to take Melvin (the dog) for a walk every now and then, since Denny won't have time (being either at work, or studying).

Peter does this. However, when Denny comes home, Melvin gives him this look saying "They beat me, and they didn't walk me, and they really hate me." It took about 6-7 months before Denny realized that Melvin was lying, because Peter *did* take Melvin for a walk each and every day. :P
