Well, I went to work this morning...and actually got to WORK! YAY!

Also, I was figuring that, since tomorrow is my last day, they would just "convieniently" forget that today's my birthday, but...they didn't. I walked in and they were just about to have a meeting, and Borky said, "Happy birthday," and so did Nicole, and then I got a gift. Granted, it was the default gift that everyone gets...a $3 collection of bath gel, lotion, body mist, and loofah, all in a tasteful clear plastic bag with brightly colored fruit on it. The scent of the product is "Passionate Purple."

But it was nice that they actually acknowledged my birthday and gave me something. Des (whom I worked with for the first time last Friday) even brought me a birthday donut.

After work I came home and took a shower, then remembered that I promised Jackie I would make oatmeal raisin cookies before I left (they turned out...lookin' kinda odd) and then I checked my mail and received a notecard from my insurance agent saying my car premium was past due. Aw fuck. I didn't even know it was DUE. Also, I think it's like $700, so I'm gonna have to dip into my savings. Blaaaaaaaaah.
