getting_weary and her husband, who doesn't have a nifty LJ name so I'll call him James. Because that's his name.
Anyway, the party was being held across the street, atgetting_weary's brother's house, and the theme was 80s Hair Bands. James wore a long blond Axl-looking wig (which was absolutely horrifying and which clumped together in two huge dreads about 5 minutes after he put it on). getting_weary and I dressed as groupies. She looked hot, I looked...well, not. Which was to be expected. Though I am totally keeping my leggings. I found some hairspray glitter and purple stuff, cut the hell out of a shirt and a sweater I found at the second hand store, and wore the cuffs of getting_weary's jean jacket, that she cut up to wear as a vest. I even made the sleeves of my bright pink sweater into leg warmers.
I might post pictures, but I might not. It depends on how I feel tomorrow. Tonight all I want to do is take a shower and go to bed, because I am le tired.
