Sep. 1st, 2005 07:44 amWent with Mike and Sarah and Keels to see March of the Penguins last night. I find I must echo the rest of the people who've seen it, and say, "SQUEEE BABY PENGUINS!"
We were the first ones there, and it was kind of empty, so the theater guy let us all in for the kids' price, then gave me and Keels slushie samples and a free slushy and Mike and Sarah a free bag of popcorn.
The movie was very good, even if a couple times it almost made me cry (it DID make Keels cry). A little girl behind us left the theater with her mom about halfway through because she was crying. It's pretty damn incredible what penguins go through year after year.
