I'm watching the Eukanuba Dog Show and Summer is absolutely fascinated. I've never seen her watch TV, and I have it on a lot, but she's just sitting here staring at the screen, and whenever a new dog comes on she'll stand up and move closer. Sometimes she even sniffs at the screen and then whines. I haven't seen any retrievers yet. I don't know if we missed them or if they're yet to come. It would be interesting to see if she recognizes her breed.

dogs are attracted to weirdest things... my parents dog would bark in response to it on tv, but not look at ones on the screen. She'd also bark at doorbells on TV, even though we didn't have one for our door.

Maggie used to LOVE painting shows. You know the ones with "Happy little trees." If I was watching one of those and changed the channel she would look at me and bark! It was so funny, she would just lay on the bed, head up and watch.

Aw, that's so cute! So far, Summer hasn't exhibited any interest in watching TV except for that dog show.
