When I go back to Alaska, there's one thing (or I guess, many little tiny things) that I will really miss. Well, that's in addition to Keely, which just goes without saying. (Love ya, Keels!)

Anyway. The fireflies.

When we went to Justin's folks the other night, after dinner Keels and Justin and I ran around outside and caught fireflies. At first, Keely and I were nervous about touching them. But I think they're kinda cute. I like them. I especially like when they glow in my palms.

I just took out the garbage a while ago. I played with the fireflies then, too.

I will miss them.

I just loved going out to catch fireflies when I was a kid. We did a number of times during the summer. Simple fun. And watching them glow in in your palm is the best. *g*
